History

As early as 1985 the foundation was laid for what is now the Pars Group, then called BTT Plåt AB and located in Emmaboda in the province of Småland. Today the Pars Group is made up of four companies and the Pars Group is continuously being developed in a targeted way. Some of the most important milestones in our history are listed here.

1985 – BTT Plåt AB in Emmaboda is acquired by Ali Karimi and the foundation for the Pars Group is laid.
1987 – KK Metallmekano AB in Motala is purchased by Ali Karimi.
1990 – AK Verkstads AB in Vaggeryd is purchased by Ali Karimi.
1993 – The Pars Group is established as a parent company.
1994 – Ahan in Eskilstuna, previously Volvo BM’s factory, is purchased by the Pars Group.
1997 – KA Wiking in Skänninge is purchased by the Pars Group.
1997 – The Pars Group sells AK Verkstads AB.
1999 – Acab in Alfta, previously ÖSA’s facility for forest machinery manufacturing, is purchased by the Pars Group.
2000 – Preform in Laxå, previously Esab’s welding shop, is purchased by the Pars Group.
2002 – ABL in Sävsjö is purchased by the Pars Group.
2003 – ABL in Sävsjö purchases ABL in Arvika, previously Arvika Mekaniska Verkstad AB.
2004 – The Pars Group sells KA Wiking.
2013 – The Pars Group sells Preform AB.
