Climate
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is crucial to meet the climate goals of the Paris Agreement and the Pars Group’s sustainability ambitions. One of the most important things we can do is to reduce our industrial emissions. Therefore, the development of solutions that reduce the carbon footprint is a top priority in our sustainability strategy.
The most important focus areas for reducing our operational climate footprint are energy consumption, waste, and chemicals.
Our goal is to annually reduce energy consumption by 5%. We monitor our total energy consumption monthly and measure electricity consumption on our most electricity-intensive machines in real-time, to ensure that we address the major energy consumers.
We also work to incorporate more high-strength material into our products, which leads to both a longer product lifespan and a lighter construction, which in turn reduces fuel consumption for the machine the product belongs to. Our Eco-line excavators are an example of this; a 750-liter ECO-Line excavator weighs approximately 95 kg less than standard excavators.

Resources
Our planet’s resources are limited. Our ambition is to lead by example. Circularity is an important factor in much of our work to improve resource efficiency.
We recycle all our residual waste and utilize waste heat from our machines for heating our premises. Continuously working to increase sheet metal utilization in our cutting machines is another important part of our endeavor to become more circular.

Safety always has the highest priority in everything we do. We have a vision of zero accidents in our workplaces and with our products. We believe that workplace accidents, incidents, and work-related illnesses can be prevented to minimize both physical and psychological risks.
Our leadership is built on caring for others, a selfless desire for good cooperation based on the goals of delivering, improving, and learning. Our leaders’ most important task is to strengthen employees’ conditions, abilities, and attitudes.
Our overarching ambition is to harness the potential of every employee and use our individual and collective strengths to drive our current operations and transform in a way that suits tomorrow’s business needs. We develop our staff’s competence and encourage them to try new tasks.
